LGBTQIA+

Queer inclusion and acceptance across the world is deeply polarised. It can be a significant challenge for global organisations which need to reconcile operating in regions where LGBTQIA+ people have full legal protection, ones where there’s significant stigma in society and ones where it’s outright illegal to be part of the community. Even in countries with significant legal protections for queer people, in recent years we’ve seen a rise in hate crime, despite wider acceptance amongst the general public. At the same time, there’s an increase in violence and hate crimes against queer people, resulting in people still feeling discriminated against in the workplace based on their sexuality (63%) and their gender identity (70%).

We have a range of workshops to expand knowledge and understanding and the unique challenges queer people face at work. These workshops result in the creation of strategies and immediately applicable actions that improve LGBTQ+ inclusion. We also work directly with LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Groups to support authentic participation, their effectiveness and longevity. Because we understand the value of lived experience, we can develop a network of brilliant queer speakers, and actively involve them in the intersectional creation and delivery of our workshops.
