Do The Right Thing Fund

The Do The Right Thing Fund is a grant available to those creating positive change within the world.

Individuals or groups may apply for between £500 and up to £2000 in direct funding provided by Utopia and supported by our network of Utopians.

The grants are aimed at supporting those creating positive change and inclusive impact. Whether you’re a start-up change-maker, innovator, pioneer or simply just a helper, this grant is for you.

Grants can be used for both public-facing and behind-the-scenes, from fabulous events to the important (but perhaps less exciting), web-hosting or software fees.

We care less about how the money is used and more about the change it’s able to drive.

Initiatives Supported By Do The Right Thing

  • Limitless Live

Limitless was one of the first initiatives funded through the Do The Right Thing Fund. They are an entertainment & change platform that unlocks the limitless potential in aspirational talent from disadvantaged backgrounds. They recently organised a legendary night in Camden’s iconic Roundhouse, combining the evening’s performances with informative & inspiring sessions for young people in the day.

  • DON'T SLEEP ON US

DON’T SLEEP ON US is one of the initiatives that Do The Right Thing has funded. They work to bring people from minoritised backgrounds together in a way which has not yet been done before. Since being founded in 2018, DON’T SLEEP ON US has gone on to organise many large-scale events and form a thriving community of over 1500 people.
